Diving at Jogashima for the first time felt like stepping into a whole new chapter underwater.
The water was colder than what I’m used to, the terrain sharper, and the sea slugs… unexpectedly different. 💙

Tiny pops of color against rocky habitats, patterns I’d never seen before — each one a little surprise drifting in the cold. These are some of my favorites from that day, and a few of them even made it into our newest creation: the Jogashima Design.

The Jogashima Design continues Moonbow’s Japonica Collection with a tribute to one of Kanagawa’s most beloved coastal escapes. Jogashima is where rugged cliffs meet open sea, where deep blues shift with the tide, and where marine life thrives beneath gentle shafts of sunlight. This design draws from that atmosphere — tranquil yet full of quiet movement — capturing the mystery and charm of a place where land and ocean breathe together.

The artwork reflects the small, magical moments that define a day at Jogashima. Nudibranchs drift like living jewels among soft corals, their colours vibrant against the cool underwater palette. Sunlight filters through the surface in scattered beams, illuminating schools of tiny fish that flutter like petals in the current. A soft glow radiates from the reef, evoking the delicate, dreamlike world hidden just below the waves. Every detail is meant to echo the calm pulse of Jogashima’s waters, the serenity of watching waves crash against volcanic rock, and the feeling of discovering an unexpected pocket of beauty beneath the surface.

The Jogashima Design balances imagination with the natural quirks of the sea.
