Japonica

I only started diving in Japan a few years ago, and it was not what I expected. The vibe is cute and tropical in places, the food between dives is genuinely part of the appeal, and the surface intervals are the most civilised I have had anywhere.

What struck me most was who I was diving with. Nearly every Japanese diver I met had a soft spot for the same creatures — the sheep and the rabbit. The tiny critters that make people who have just spent an hour looking for them come up beaming.

That shared enthusiasm is the design. It is a celebration of the critters, and just as much of the people who love them — the Japanese divers and customers who found this brand early and have supported it since.

This one is a thank you as much as a print.
